A Time to Blog – Taking Notes #1

I have a host of blog posts sitting at draft stage. I have had the inspiration and even created the post with a title and perhaps a sentence or two, but I haven’t got round to finishing them. I never seem to have enough time. I figure what is needed is a new workflow. One that works for me. Having created the post on my WordPress site earlier, I’m typing this section on my iPhone. This gets round my little gripe about default post settings in WordPress for iPhone and iPad. Later I can spell check, insert links and pictures on the ‘big machine’. This solves part of my problem about improving post proliferation, but in order for this workflow to be effective, I need to form a strategy around making sure that these post ideas are easily captured and transferred to the blog. WordPress on iDevices

I like WordPress. I use it for this blog. I have used other blogging tools. I don’t like them. I like WordPress. Sure it takes a bit of fiddling to get posts to look gorgeous. Sure I spent a few dollars on a premium theme to help with that. And of course I don’t understand what all the functionality available is but I’m sure it’s cool. When it becomes uncool is when I try to use Word on the iPad (or worse iPhone). I want it to be a cool experience so that I can pump out more drivel for the masses to devour. But it’s not cool.
